I&#8217;ve blogged about it before, commenting that their videos were inspirational and &#8211; if just from a professional point of view &#8211; I wish I&#8217;d written them.  Try this one for instance&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/1e8xgF0JtVg\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>What can I say?<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve got daughters. Two of them. One&#8217;s a medical student who&#8217;s just spent time in Asia, working, where she was joined by her younger sister to travel.  I&#8217;m immensely proud of both of them and &#8211; as a parent &#8211; I was also worried sick in case anything went wrong while they were too far away for me to help.  Hey, when they&#8217;re in the UK I can help.  I can always be there in a matter of hours and I can get money to them in a matter of minutes &#8211; on the far side of the world they&#8217;re more on their own! :)<\/p>\n<p><strong>What must it be like to have children that you can&#8217;t help?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The least I can do is blog. \u00c2\u00a0Better yet I can get of my backside and do something. \u00c2\u00a0I&#8217;ve got a couple of days at the end of this week when I&#8217;m not delivering training. \u00c2\u00a0I&#8217;m supposed to be researching and doing some personal development. \u00c2\u00a0What better personal development could I do than spend a couple of days changing the world?<\/p>\n<p>Join me, anyone?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today, October 4th, there&#8217;s a movement I was introduced to by http:\/\/www.taramohr.com\/joinus\/ to blog about The Girl Effect.
