It’s only about six weeks until our new, online training package is live! I have to admit I’m gettin
g both nervous and excited now.
So where are we, what have we done and what’s still to come?
- The content is done. We need to add some bits-and-bobs but it’s basically there. In fact I’d go so far as to say that everything that needs to be there, is there: the things we need to add are either bits where we’ve find places to give even more value by adding some new material, or places where we can improve the quality of the videos (for example).
- The initial feedback is done. We field tested this on a bunch of volunteers! To a man an woman they loved the content! Some weren’t 100% convinced about some of the technical pieces, so we looked at that and decided to move the whole thing to a different hosing package. That took more than a few cups of tea to get done! ;)
- The structure is there. After the Big Migration (to thinkific.com) we’ve changed the structure and formalised it a bit more (following a bit more feedback. A completely drip-fed content is the best way to deliver things, but that’s too frustrating for users who wanted it now, now, now!
- The proof-reading needs to be done. As someone once said, being my proof-reader must be a bit like being Shane McGowan’s dentist – so much so that my usual proof-reader has gone on holiday to Italy to get away from it! :)
- The marketing still needs to be done! We’re working on that. If anyone has contact with any groups they think would benefit from some presentations training let us know and we’ll sort you out with some special offer… I don’t now what yet, but let’s chat! :)
