Well, the contract has (finally) arrived. All half-a-tree-worth of it :) I guess I’ll get around to reading it soon… What else is new? Two changes to the software I’m using.
- Evernote: I said in a recent post that I was using the free version but I’ve recently just paid for a year’s pro version. Why? Because like an idiot I accidentally removed the content from a key note: unfortunately, the syncing is so good the mistake spread faster than I could move! The Pro version allows me to bring back old versions of the notes. And it’s faster too.
Contatta: This is a beta test of a project management and crm programme that I review here: http://www.awareplus.co.uk/blog/a-new-administration-tool-contatta/ I’m using it to keep in touch with people who are with me on the project and to keep on top of what jobs I need to do when. And before you say anything, yes, I know that Evernote can do those things, but it can’t do crm, so I’m using this as a way of experimenting to see if I want to move to Contatta in the longer term for my crm and everything else.
That’s it! Nothing major. :)
